Lost in Sagalassos

Lost in Sagalassos, objects with a story. The objects are not necessarily aesthetic and often even broken. But they give expression to the story of an archaeological site, or rather to the community of ancient Sagalassos. These finds bring back a lot of colour from the lives of its inhabitants. In that sense, these objects are character heads, have personality, are weathered and have a whole (underground) life behind them. They have also been photographed as such, not as a registration with all the details visible but as an interpretation, playing with light and dark, sharp and blurred.
